Our Chapter

Nu Chi Chapter was founded at the business school of Lynchburg College in 1996.

  • We are the only recognized professional business organization on campus and are proud to encourage career growth and development among business students students. 
  • Our chapter at Lynchburg College has well over 350 active members, including faculty and alumni Brothers.
  • Our long-standing relationship with faculty members is what makes us notable on campus.

 Here is a background of Delta Sigma Pi:


Delta Sigma Pi was founded in 1907 at New York University: School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance by Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello and Henry Albert Tienken. Today, coast to coast, more than 260 chapters and over 250,000 members support the goals and ideals of the Fraternity.  Delta Sigma Pi provides many opportunities for students to meet professional contacts and life-long friends. Our chapter also provides many social and professional activities. Candidates for membership in Delta Sigma Pi must receive an invitation to join from a local chapter, complete an orientation program, and demonstrate a willingness to perpetuate the ideals of the Fraternity. Members may be men and women of all creeds and colors engaged in the study of business or related fields. Cross-membership in Greek social fraternities and sororities is permitted.
